Set among nearly 1,200 olive trees and framed by the mountains of Wandiligong, it’s a place that invites you to breathe a little deeper, move a little slower and rediscover life’s simple pleasures.
Our Story
Wandiring Olives is the story of our family.
In 2021, we purchased the property with a dream of creating something of our own: a place where we could raise our family closer to nature, build a more connected way of life and create something meaningful for the future.
What began as a blank canvas has gradually been transformed into our family home, a working olive grove and a place we hope to one day share with others.
Nathan is a plumber by trade and continues to run his business in Melbourne, while Hailley spent ten years working as a nurse before trading hospital life for life on the farm — as farmer, mother and the heart behind Wandiring Olives.
Our kids are growing up among it all, happiest outside exploring, adventuring and experiencing the freedom that comes with life on the land.
Wandiring Olives is very much a family project — one that continues to grow and evolve alongside us.
Tucked between two mountain ranges, the valley has a way of making you feel held by the landscape.
From sunrise over the grove to evenings beneath star-filled skies, every detail has been thoughtfully created to inspire rest, connection and a lasting appreciation for the beauty of the land.
The Farm
Nestled in a valley in North East Victoria, Wandiring Olives is home to nearly 1,200 olive trees, surrounded by apple orchards, chestnut groves and the mountains of Wandiligong.
The landscape is an important part of life here. Two mountain ranges frame the valley, creating a feeling of being tucked away from the outside world.
Mornings begin with birdsong and the call of kookaburras. Cows can be heard across the neighbouring paddocks and, as daylight disappears, the sky opens to reveal stars rarely seen from the city.
Wandiring Olives is proudly 100% off-grid. The property has been thoughtfully developed to tread lightly on its surroundings while supporting a comfortable, connected way of life.
From wandering through the olive grove to watching the sun disappear behind the mountains, life here follows a different rhythm.
